Dry Eye Trial

Research Study Spotlight

Vision Source Eyecare is enrolling patients to participate in a clinical trial that evaluates the efficacy of a new, FDA-approved dry eye treatment drop in comparison to previous treatment modes.

Clinical Research Study

Patients with Dry Eye Disease (DED) typically experience symptoms including dryness, burning, and/or insufficient tear supply 1. Current dry eye treatment options have been found to produce inconsistent results and symptom relief. However, this new FDA-approved eye drop aims to treat DED through an alternative mode; it targets cold thermoreceptors in the eye to stimulate tear production and symptomatic relief through a cooling sensation.

Patients eligible for this study are those currently prescribed Restasis for their dry eye treatment. Enrollment is now open! If you or someone you know is currently being treated for dry eyes with Restasis, reach out to our Research Team for more information. Patients who meet the inclusion criteria will be eligible for compensation

Study Overview:

  • Patients 18 years or older currently prescribed Restasis

  • 3 visits over 1 month

  • Up to $300 in compensation

  • Exams and eye drops will be provided at no cost while participating in the study
